I not like open front top sections. I always shoot standing.

THERMACELL
Mathews Triax with HHA single pin wheel sight and QAD rest
Lone Wolf Alpha with LW sticks
Millennium M7 and M60U with Hawk Helium sticks for them
Millennium tree seat
a couple Rhino ground blinds for when little man wants to tag along
Don't use a climber anymore since I can hang my lock on just as fast and a lot more quiet than my climber. I do love those Treewalker stands though. I swapped to a lock on and sticks when I started hunting public land so often. Now I prefer a lock on even on my lease
Good luck this season gentlemen. Dove season and the opening of bow season are two of my favorite days of the year

Thermacell is the most important early season piece of gear you have.

Dude this. I did some scouting this weekend in a place in Maurepas WMA I’ve never been before. Clipped it on my pack before going in. Occasionally I’d have a deer fly or mosquito buzzing around, but as soon as I’d stop walking they’d disappear.

I hear you, but my favorite stand is the Millennium, which is completely open. Tie off kind of high with not much slack and I feel alright.

I should have clarified. On climbers. That Millennium looks super comfortable. I rarely use lock ons, but when I do, the two I have are not really comfortable at all.

Switched from a PSE Brute to a Wicked Ridge Ranger Crossbow last year. Eyes had gone bad and couldn't see pins. Wasn't comfortable shooting deer like that.

Summit Viper SD Climber

Millennium M100U lock on with muddy pro sticks

Going to try to hit Louisiana public land hard this year. I normally hunt a mix of private and public in Mississippi but 5 hour drive gets old every weekend.

Give me this over an Ole Man climber any day. You will not slide down a hardwood with a Treewalker.
