Yes, exactly. Trump did the opposite.
There is no threat to the United States from Iran. There was certainly no urgent need to launch a regime change war in Iran.
So in that sense, it was absolutely moronic politically.
The outcome of the elections in November are extremely critical to the future of the country.
The outcome was already in doubt. Just look at the history of midterm elections for the party in the White House. Not good.
Anyone claiming to know what Iran is going to look like in 3 or 4 months is absolutely lying. Trump has created a complete unknown.

October 7 Attacks: Iran-backed Hamas has been linked to the deaths of at least 46 Americans during the October 7, 2023, attacks.
Total Scope: Beyond the 600+ deaths in Iraq, hundreds more have been killed in various attacks across the Middle East, including in Lebanon and through recent proxy actions in Syria and Iraq.
