What percentage of your income should the federal government be allowed to take from you?

And your interpretation places you FIRMLY into one of the two groups that I described.
That is because I'm not willing to lie to myself about it. Are you?
Not at all. I have evaluated layman-friendly reviews of all the relevant science and formed opinions that I believe to be reasonably-objective and -informed. I am not, however, going to derail this thread with the substance of those opinions.

Two very serious questions I like to ask liberals.
1) At what trimester, month, or day of a pregnancy should abortion be illegal?

2) What percentage of your income should the federal government be allowed to take from you?
Why do you ask these questions only of “liberals?”. Are they not reasonable questions to ask anyone?

Is this how your conversations go?

Well, you were quite the disappointment.

Yes, but it seems like liberals have a problem answering.
It’s a numbers thing.
I’m not a super religious person, but when you ask for specific #’s many libs have trouble answering or don’t want to.
i.e. Hillary answered or didn’t about abortion in a debate saying up to birth abortion would be ok.

I myself struggle with the question. But at conception would be my answer.
Picking a month, day, or week seems bizarre to me.

As far as taxes go...that’s easy. No more than 10%.
Liberals have a hard time answering the percentage question because they want “everyone else” to pay high taxes but not them.

So what percentage of your income should the federal government be allowed to take from you?

You proved my point.
You can’t answer the question.

I would guess conservatives and libertarians would not have a problem answering these two questions.
The #1 question is the tax question.
Just put #’s to many issues.
How many illegal immigrants should we allow in our country on a yearly basis?
What dollar amount should the minimum wage be?
Liberals have problems with #’s.

No, I didn’t, but you have never actually analyzed your 10% you just threw out there. I take it you’re okay with getting rid of all entitlements, right? No more social security, Medicare, or Medicaid, right?

In order to get to 10%, you’re slashing military budgets, ending entitlements, stopping federal funding of infrastructure to a large extent, hampering intelligence gathering, and much more.

You’re also going to cause a recession when you take social security out of the picture and stop funding of thousands of federal contractors with private employers.

The truth is that you just throw that number out with absolutely no real studying of what the impact would be.

Again, with your 10% tax rate, what is the federal government going to spend its money on?

The women are the statistical minority. Therefore they are either hired as part of an affirmative action program, after the more available men are hired, or simply in lower numbers because of their 1:3 ratio of availability. AND, therefore, since they represent a minority of workers in the vast majority of male-dominated fields...THEY CAN GET PAID LESS.

WTF is this?

Zero. It should be based on a consumption tax.

Sounds like you have no substance.
