I heard this on the radio today and was astounded, WTF is going on. We need to stop incentivizing having children out of wedlock.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
Anyone on government assistance should be capped at only being allowed to have one child. After that, they should have an IUD placed or a tubal ligation performed. The IUD can be removed when they come off of government dependency. A tubal ligation should be offered a credit incentive. Offer 30,000 dollars for a tubal ligation if they’re more interested in collecting money than having more kids.
It would drastically improve poverty in this country.

SNAP was never intended to be a permanent hand out, but a hand up.
The govt has it set up backward. Instead of helping people climb the ladder, they penalize for it. Its crazy.

THIS is why grocery prices are so high. You can't give millions of people "free" money and not expect high inflation.

It’s a scheme that people run
It’s profitable to be reliant on the government and never have to do anything and have it all given to you

Profitable for Walmart, not necessarily ebt recipients.

Maybe you can explain how people profit from food stamps.

You answer my question first

I wouldn't even know how to start the process of getting snap, yet 42m people are on it. We live in different worlds with these people.

Agreed. They're paying for everything else the kids need. All they need is a little help buying sodas and ice cream.
They pay for their own healthcare and education, nothing else is subsidized... They just need help with those snack cakes and candy...

I may not know how to get them, but I know how this is done. Ain't that hard to get cash for stamps. Fitty cent on the dolla.

My daughter receives snap she has two kids from an ex husband who doesn’t pay his child support on time and she works in real estate. But she also doesn’t abuse snap so if it goes out in November she still has like a $1000 dollars left on her snap card. So the point is, it’s not always fat black bitches or illegals on snap but people who have deadbeat ex husbands or other issues. People who genuinely need it should receive it. People who just live to live off the government tit, frick them.

They're buying steak and lobster too
Sit on your fat arse, don't work, pop out illegitimate kids, and the taxpayer will feed your fat arse. Go to work everyday, pay taxes and all your other bills and maybe have a little leftover to afford to some prime ribeyes to cook for your family once a month.

Obviously not if you think someone would have a kid just to get $350/month in food stamps. As if food is the only thing kids require.
You have no idea what you are talking about, my mother taught school in rural north Louisiana for 30 years.
It’s taught, practiced and passed down generation to generation how to manipulate the system.
Kids + no husband = profit

Didn your mother tell you how much income these people netted annually from receiving EBT?
I taught in urban public schools for years.

If they are old, children or disabled then that 5% truly needing is still 4% to high. I’m leaving 1% for mothers whose trash husband screwed up the household. That’s 3.3 million of citizens not of that 42 million number.

So people get food stamps and sell them and then don’t eat food all month and don’t feed their kids. I get it now. What a lucrative income generator. $150 cash for $300 in EBT.

It’s funny that random bachelors who post here think they are experts on single moms and poverty.
