Meh… once the bad eggs are in prison the rest of the situation looks completely different.
It’s the 80:20 rule: 80% of the crime is being committed by 20% of the people in those areas. Without them setting a negative example and with the clear evidence of there being major prison terms for breaking bad things could flip much faster than anyone realizes.
We just need the Soros DAs and judges out of the way.

This pisses me off because the baby is completely innocent. I probably would have told the mom something had I been there.

To work all the way it’ll have to happen from the state or federal level because as you correctly pointed out the progressives will never let it happen.
They can be rolled up on state and federal charges and I 100% believe that if the FBI weren’t so busy clearing out federal level sedition it would be in progress as we speak.
But even setting that aside, look at places like Detroit. It was a total no fly zone for 20-30 years and now you can go to a Lions, Tigers or Red Wings game safely and enjoy a drink afterwards without ever feeling worried because they cleared out a safe zone.
Their next step has been bulldozing blighted areas and returning it to green spaces to flush out the crime even further while selling houses to qualified first time owners at rock bottom prices contingent on repairs occurring within a few years.
All of that was done without a tough on crime governor or federal intervention, imagine what a Kash Patel led FBI teamed up with a Governor like DeSantis could do in a MAGA era reindustrialized America?
It can be done. We’ve just been demoralized by 30 years of being told what has to be done is somehow racist. We MUST move past that type of thinking and realize all it takes is the will to ignore the left and make the hard choices.
Rudy did it in NYC, we can do it anywhere we have the courage to see it through.

the kid took that tough conversation well, and made some changes as my wife bought him hygiene products..
once my son went to college we lost touch with him...
