This would only be clever if the Bible only spoke in generalities and vague terms, but it does not. There are hundreds of very specific prophecies that are clear and easily disproven if false.
Can't remember which video it was, but may have been a Peterson/Rogan discussion where Peterson describes the Bible as the first book that all books have branched out of. Interesting take.
He just came out this past wknd with a video saying how he is no longer an Atheist. Awesome video in case anyone wants to look up his videos on YT. Not sure if he has created a Rumble copy of his YT channel yet.
Good to see some very interesting now former Atheist coming out as believers now. Obviously Peterson still has his intense psychological approach to it, but I think it's great. Not typical church sermon topics. Bogino interviews another that is really good too.

I’ll never understand why Jesus would pop up because the US is going through tough times, for once. Most of the world has been suffering for thousands of years, but he’s just going to come back because Americans are disgruntled? That makes no fricking sense

Good. It makes the good of the generation step up and fight for what's right even harder. Though Christians are destined for a great after life, we don't want our last days on earth to be what we are taught it will be like when God makes the decision to come back.
In a sense it lights a fire under our butts to push it to the next gens to keep picking up the torch.

A believer looks for ways to believe, and skeptic finds ways to be skeptical.
And no, I don’t agree. There has never been a universal method to control all commerce.

Who claimed this??

And I doubt there ever will be, even if that's how you interpret that scripture.

Isn't that what you were implying with your OP?

No. The Bible wasn’t written only for a specific nation

He's not okay with sin. Those who minimize sin make a mockery of Christ.

100% agree.

No but it also says just be prepared because we don't know and won't know. There are always events that can be a sign, can be the key phrase. So this sign or that, may be a sign or it may just be man's wickedness toward man.

Since you seem knowledgeable about the bible (minus the pre-trib rapture.) What the hell does the 144,000 in, I think Revelation mean? A Jehovah Witness told me only 144k got into heaven at the supermarket last night and the rest of Christians will live on a "paradise Earth".

I agree with the sentiment, however America is really the last great hope for freedom in our world. Once she has been conquered by the commies, there is no one left to save anyone but the Lord. Maybe a few European countries but they would fall fast. I don’t think “hard times” is what has people thinking end times. We’ve all been through hard times. But the signs I see are: Israel is a nation again, worldwide lost of freedoms and mandates all shifting at the same time, one world governing plans, deviancy at every corner, the pushing of evil things as somehow good and just, and the outright rebellion towards God and his creation(climate change, the sun, fresh air, freedom to socialize, gender confusion, the attempt to destroy the family, and now since man can’t create life, maybe he can create an alternate universe in the metaverse). Just seems to be a huge satanic shift happening, not the least of which was a stolen election.

It’s speaking about 144,000 sealed Jews who will be chosen and come from the original 12 tribes of Israel.

The way I've had a few pastors look at gay etc. is this summed up like this.
There are no 50 shades of sin or varying degrees of sin.. it's black and white.. all sin is created equal in eyes of God..
So putting it another way.. being Gay.. is no different than regularly looking at porn, lying, being prideful, alcohol or drugs, having affair etc. All are part of your "sin bucket". We all have sinned regardless of what it may be.. and we will sin as none of us are perfect. Just be thankful that if you are a Christian, you have someone that will stand in our place when the time comes.

True, but lying, then trying to claim that lying is OK in God's eyes because He created you to be a liar and demanding that everyone accept and praise you for being a liar is the more apt comparison
Eta: also claiming that nobody can judge you for lying.
Also saying it's nobody's business if you lie.
Also saying if you tell me I shouldn't lie you are a bigot and hate people.
