Maybe, just maybe it DID happen here.

The current administration and DOJ will be happy to use any and all resources and ideas at their disposal to get what they want to ensure they remain in power.

This is simply one of those ideas. Go get materials they need and over time create doubt about the declassification process and Trumps legal right to possess the documents they took or were searching for.

It's very possible Trump was well within his rights to possess everything that was at MAL, you know this.

If you had one iota of introspection and concern, you would wonder why the DOJ so desperately needs the Crossfire Hurricane documents out of DJTs hands.

What the hell is this supposed to mean? I know damn well why they want them so badly.

So I’m trying to understand your argument. You’re saying Trump’s biggest error was that he didn’t follow proper procedure?

And how exactly in the fuk do you know?

its possible in the sense that its not impossible, of course. but that would mean he was all of sudden beholden to convention and some stickler for government rules, and we both know he's anything but that.

Presidents are like kings when it comes to classified material. Period.

my first hint was when the FBI had to raid his house to get back the files he stole. if everything was by the book Im gonna guess they wouldn't have done that.

but, and apparently I need to say this for the third time, "none of the criminal provisions listed in the search warrant hinge on whether the documents recovered at MAL were classified or not, so it doesnt even matter, he's fricked regardless."

There is no book . . . well, other than Article Two of The Constitution of The United States of America. READ IT, and then come back and tell us what branch or agency of our government has the right to bind or nullify The President's powers.

Because they said so . . . good answer. That's exactly the right posture that we should take as citizens toward law enforcement. I mean, think of all the money we could save on courts.

That question truly highlights their melt, they are still melting to this day that he was their president. Everything they do show that they are in denial, just like an alcoholic, but they deny he was ever president. If we were full on chicom, he would already be erased. The fact that he’s still lurking has their blood pressure rising.

So urgent, he had them for 18+ months, and they knew it. Even a fool can see thru this charade. No way they can let Trump re-occupy the Oval Office. They know a whole bunch of Swamp creatures will probably be going to jail. Even the magistrate that signed off on the warrant, now seems to have come to full realization of what he's done, and is trying to get himself removed from this fiasco. The affidavit has to be released this week. I imagine Merrick Garland is having a ton of sleepless nights, right now. Especially considering he came out and took full responsibility for the raid.
