The optics are never bad for Kamala from a media perspective. She isn’t even expected to give her positions on anything including the most liberal record in the 2019 senate.

It's especially not helping them... when they spend such an abnormal amount of time declaring trump is afraid of Kamala... but then have Kamala skip the fox debate that's supposed to take place a week prior.
When you've the Kamala campaign jumping up and down implying they'd take on trump any time, any place, anywhere.. but then refuse to debate trump when it's set up..just because they are terrified of fox news. Now that's bad optics. If I'm as eager and as confident to debate someone like the Kamala campaign is portraying themselves... I'd debate that person behind a shite filled outhouse if need be.

Trump doesn’t need to convince the Fox News audience that he is the better choice, he needs to convince some of the ABC audience that he is the better choice. So 90 minutes solo only on Fox News does no good.
