For which particular high crime or misdemeanor?

They will say Cohen...which turns out isn't a crime at all. SAD!

49% of the country couldn't tell you who Cohen is.

METHODOLOGY – This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Aug. 26-29, 2018, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,003 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.6 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 33-25-37 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.

33+25+37 = 95

So we are short 5% off the top and also under-sampled the Republicans by approximately 6-8%

I am fairly skeptical of the results

Seems like you make a polls say anything you want when you include the "design effect".

I'm still not convinced any polling agency has tapped into Trump's America.

After the election, MIT (I think) put out an article talking about how the pollsters and media got it so wrong. They plotted Hillary supporters and Trump supporter's social media presence as dots on a graph (very little overlap), then they overlayed the media's social media presence on top of that. Guess where just about all of them landed? Right over Hillary voters and none of the Trump voters.

The bottom line of this article was that the media and pollsters didn't necessarily misread the Trump voters, they had no actual idea who they were or where they where.

How can you possibly give an accurate snapshot of America's political pulse when you don't know half of America? I really think this is still happening today. We've seen zero course correction or effort by the media to reach Trump's America, and it's looking like they are falling into the same trap again.

This poll seems like an outlier just like Rasmussen

It’s really around 43 or 44%

You can call Rasmussen an outlier however there polling methodology was the same under the Obama administration as it currently is under the Trump administration.

Was Rasmussen an outlier during the Obama administration?

You’re assuming they want to

They don’t. It was satisfying to hear trump clearly express what many of us have been saying. These polls are fake and the intent is to supress your vote.

Exactly. They want to sway public opinion a certain way, not present of snap shot of it.

So ABC News dug through states’ voting history, demographic shifts and head-to-head polling to develop these electoral ratings. ABC News’ puts Clinton at 274 electoral votes and Trump at 188, when including both solid and leaning states, which would give Clinton enough states right now in the solid and lean blue columns to hand her the White House. Seventy-six electoral votes are in toss-up states.

ABC polls are worthless

For embarrassing all of the Hillary supporters who bragged two weeks before the 2016 election that Hillary was going to win in a landslide.

Rasmussen? If it can even be considered an outlier, its, maybe a 2pt outlier.

36% is some 10+ pts off. This is meant to drag the RcP average down. This happened during the 16 election as well.
