For me the one that should be made to watch this is Gov Bob Fergie Ferguson of Washington before he signs that unconstitutional "Millionaire Tax".

And the dig at Abbott . Don’t be jealous that Texas is now more important to the American economy than New York

Good point.
Killing their state tax deductions on Federal Income Tax drove them out as much as Covid and the ability to work “outside of New York state”.

The trash that voted for the crap in NY (and particularly NYC) should be forced to remain there and live with the consequences of their abhorrent voting propensities.
Instead, they're leaving, and bringing their abhorrent voting propensities with them to TX and FL, the exact same way that California liberals are ruining AZ and ID.

They’ e already been doing that through USAID and all the tax money funneled to leftist NGOs

The funniest thing is they still don’t get it

FAFO
Leftists don't have that inner dialogue, so it is almost impossible for them to see the long term implications of their actions.
Which is why they should never be in charge of anything.

If the left had their way, they’d do what they’ve done in NY and CA on a national level and force us to fund their ideology.
The next batch of Dems that head to the White House will do this very thing. Look at how Newsom has ran Cali...it's not hard to see but he is the front runner. These idiots dont care how much they pay as long as they have the choice to kill their offspring and have Juan cutting their grass for them

"We have to be smart about this". Has to be the most brain dead, lack of awareness thing I heard all day.

I hope NYC becomes the next Detroit within 30 years.

Yeah, but what about these "leaders?" Hochul is an educated woman. She is intelligent and I'm sure her bank account looks great.
Intelligence doesn't necessarily equate to wisdom, our intellectual elite often forget that.

FTR, that statement came from my math models professor circa mid-80s. It was in reference to NYC not the state. Sounds like it's more applicable now than ever.

She gave the reasons people moved away and still tries to make a case for them to move back by stating why they moved away. That's like saying I stopped hitting myself in the head with a hammer because it hurt, but I should go back to doing it because it hurts.
