It is interesting to see the frequency of unanimous decisions. It happens a lot more often than I expected.
Also, how the votes break down.
I went to their website and picked the most recent opinion and found that it was decided by a vote of 7 - 2 with Jackson and Gorsuch the only two dissenters.
Are Jackson and Gorsuch aligned? I don't think so.

A bigger problem is we fall for the CNN/MSNBC/NYT headlines. That was not a ruling (technically) against Trump but for Trump. Since these cases are not usually plucked out from under a presiding Judge, they want to let the case run its course.........BUT Trump really won, Roberts STAYED the order that mandated Trump & Gov. had to release the funds by midnight.
In other words they really slapped the judge down, Trump will now get to appeal this case (which has not tech. been decided yet) before the Gov. has to pay one red cent. That is all this Supreme Court case really decided, they were never going to judge the merits of the case before the judge was finished with the case.
But LIBS know how to spin.

With all of your name calling, it's hard to keep track of. Do you have a chart of what statements people make that then leads to them being called certain names?

The unfortunate truth is that a percentage of GOP appointed judges will go wobbly over time. Democratic appointees all toe the line until they die.
That’s just how it is. No GOP president can avoid that for some reason.
I do remember being surprised that ACB sailed through confirmation. I always attributed that to her being a women. Hopefully there wasn’t another known reason.
