In response to no one in particular.
She's an 85 year old, sick woman. Of COURSE there is something nefarious going on.
Who the frick wants to kidnap a sick piles of bones, and hold for ransom.
I bet within a mile of her home, there are 100s of more valuable targets than her.
It wasn't a home invasion gone wrong either, for those morons who believe that.
NO ONE would be robbing a home and decide to grab the old hag, and hold her for bitcoin ransom..on a gucking whim. All the while evading all evidence by the top crime labs in America

I know there's a somewhat different focus in the FBI since January 2025. That doesn't change the fact that if I were in a situation where I could either include or exclude the FBI from an investigation involving a loved one, I wouldn't hesitate to exclude them.
Of all government organizations, including Congress, I don't believe that there's a more corrupt organization than CIA, with FBI being a close second. Put an FBI agent on the stand in a trial where I'm a juror, and I wouldn't trust one damned thing they had to offer.

Yeah, there is a small town sheriff dept not accostomed to this level of investigations.
It has been said they dont have the capabilities of doing polygraphs.
Then I agree with lack of trust for the FBI. Yet localized forensics is needed.
Mark Kelly made it political and a PR stunt... and surely they didn't appreciate the president.
So these things are why it is day 10 with no results.

I’ll take state ABI and their capabilities over federal FBI and their corruption. If the killers were at any point in their past confidential informants for FBI, there is no limit that the FBI wouldn’t stoop to to protect them, including pointing to some patsy and announcing “got him”

Does anyone know why the supposed perpetrator was holding up some sort of plant to the ring camera?

Tuscon would be the largest city in Louisiana, and there are over a million people in Pima County.
We aren't talking about local backwoods yokel law enforcement assets here.

Trying to find something to stick on the camera to block it from recording. Obviously not a pro from just the way they moved about and looked unsure of what they were doing.
If this was someone with experience, they probably would have hit the camera with spray paint or a taped over it.
If they ever get a resolution to the case, it will turn out to be someone they knew. It's just too weird of a case not to be. Who the heck that does not know the family decide of all people, Guthrie's mom to kidnap? Just doesn't make sense.
