How is that sad? I don't want a monstrous central state ruling me, so I would favor a breakup of the United States.

There’s nothing wrong with a United States. The problem is with a United State.

Nope... you hate Trump and conservatism. You make snarky remarks and pretend to be the intellectual higher ground. You don’t care about what made this country great. Laugh all you want but you and your progressive anti patriotism views are what is tearing up this country. It’s sad.

You should be anti federal government.

Let local and state politics handle it.

frick the federal government.

America was founded on the belief that strong central governments suck and the purpose of the federal government is national defense, guidelines not mandates, and interstate disputes.

PAY ATTENTION TO WHO YOU VOTE FOR IN LOCAL POLITICS.

Can anyone here even name their state government representatives? City council reps?

Do you even know who your congressmen are?

90% of this country straight ticket pulls a lever for an initial with absolutely not thought about the name next to it .

Personal Liberty is important and sacred and yes it has consequences.

But the consequences of failing in a personal liberty system are unbelievably vastly superior to living under an iron fist government.

Guilty.

Finding intellectual ground higher than yours would be nothing to brag about.

Made? This country isn't great anymore? Careful, Trump supporters might take issue with that...

Yep. I've completely checked out of national politics. Trump or Biden? It might look or sound different, but in the end, all the same.

I'll focus my energy on local elections that actually impact my day to day life.

Your local city/metro council representative has far more impact on the average person's life than their congressman, yet no one seems to give a frick. They would rather claw each other's eyes out over national elections that then shape houses of congress that get single digit approval ratings. It baffles me.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to think the world is a dichotomy of Trumpists and Progressives, which is the only way you can end up with the idea that libertarian = progressive when you rubbed all three of your brain cells together
