I’m sure they are.

i don't think him being in an empty house is a reason to be shot. need more to the story.

Well he isn't wearing timberlands in the day time video
Weird looks like he is just looking around.

He’s in the house for five minutes. And if he’s visiting the place multiple times, maybe he’s just a bit touched. The one prosecutor did allude to him having mental issues.

I wonder If anyone has the full videos, is he actually taking anything?

This is going to get a ton of play in the trial IMO. History of mental illness, violent tendencies, previous (stolen) gun conviction, per his previous charges etc.
Will be very interesting to see how the defense plays this one.

If a guy has been coming to your job site for the past 7 months, you aren't leaving anything there for him to steal.
He's looking for shite to steal. There just isn't anything there that day.

Apparently they take their time building houses in Georgia.
Maybe building out of pocket. I’ve been there and done that once.

The two guys in this case came at someone who was fleeing with guns, an altercation happened, and a man is dead.
I agree with all of your points. I'm not defending the shooters and I'm not justifying what they did. Just pure speculation but maybe they thought if they came out and pointed guns at the guy, he would stop and surrender. They could hold him until the cops arrived.
Instead, they got the opposite and he charged one of them who reacted by shooting him. It's the old axiom, only pull your weapon in situations where you plan to use it.

I’m kind of interested in the route that the chase took. Greg McMichaels kind of glosses over the whole chase.
Why did Pops get in the back of the pickup?
They chase him onto Burford, per Pops. At some point the videographer joins the chase. Why did he? He lives on Burford. Did they call him?
If they were chasing him, how do the McMichaels end up ahead of him?
What is the address where the shooting actually took place?

Don't know it for a fact because McMichael conveniently leaves these details out of his statements to the police, but I suspect they caught up with him at some point, which made AA double back and turn around. They had already called Roddy (the video guy) to assist and knew Roddy would be coming from the direction AA was now travelling. AA doubles back again after being blocked by Roddy and is now heading back towards McMichael and the video picks up at that point.

With these media frenzy cases they generally have two or three days where they show the high school pictures and claim they are in school to be astronauts. This is when the attorneys try and extort all they can as Travon's attorneys extorted the condo association where his killing took place for millions. Then after the news cycle dies down we always find out the truth but the media always forgets to air that part. Then the trials take place, like in the Travon case, and the ignorant wonder why the innocent choir boy was found guilty.

Would be involuntary manslaughter
Likely voluntary manslaughter if it can be shown that they acted in the heat of the moment, otherwise murder.
I don't see it being involuntary in that they had intent when they armed themselves, chased him down and blocked the road.

Yeah. McMichael admits to catching up to him. And then not being able to stop him. I’m just guessing the elder bails out of the truck and then jumps back into the back after not catching Arbery. You can’t really expect someone to stop by pulling a car up to them.

Maybe voluntary Manslaughter.
That’s pretty common on “imperfect self defense” cases.
I think That’s what the guy who shot Will Smith (former saints player not actor/rapper) was sentenced with.

Will depend heavily on if the state proves aggravated assault, which I do not believe will be too much of an issue. If it was agg assault, manslaughter is unavailable.

How does this justify him being chased down by a couple of vigilantes and shot to death?

There’s a huge difference in public narrative between “jogger hunted and killed by evil whiteys” and “thief killed in failed citizen’s arrest.”
At this point, it is about the left trying to turn this into race-baiting propaganda without the context of shithead committing a crime at the time of the death.
Well, I guess if you care about propaganda...
No one is defending the actions of these two rednecks. So... not sure what it matters.
