That couple must have been very naive re judging people. More likely persuaded by PC intuition than base instinct. There is no doubt that Hider had the 'sociopath' stare, unless she is on Bundy's level.
I hope this will be a lesson to all the naive folk. Albeit the guy died doing something good and that is more than most will. And he took out a heathen predator with him. One less bad person in the World.
It'll get a lot worse before getting better. Thank the Dem Party and their enablers for that.
