There's context to that. He was pushing back against a donor who was trying to strongarm him into excluding Tucker Carlson from a TPUSA event. I don't blame Kirk for resisting being bullied, but personally I think he was wrong -- I don't think Carlson is worth ANYBODY's time or loyalty after he uncritically hosted that ridiculous pseudo-historian with the Hitler retcon fetish.
You also conveniently omit the fact that there were conversations between Kirk and other conservatives right before his death where he expressed grave concern about incursions by groypers, antisemites, and reflexive Israel-haters into the conservative movement -- and strategized with them on the most expeditious way to kick their bigoted butts out.
Until you despicable lot have more than crazed innuendo and false cause fallacies to peddle, then yeah -- it really is a coincidence.
