Less than 50% of our adult population gets a flu shot every year. And you don’t get multiple flu shots a year either. Not to mention they’re efficacy rate is 50% at best and that’s also dependent on the dominant flu strain each year. I’ve never had a flu shot and haven’t had the flu since 1998, the one and only time I’ve had the flu.

Wow I’m honestly shocked that less than 50% get the flu shot. I never did until I became a nurse but have for the past 10 years.
You make a valid point, but I was really just wondering why someone would rather die than get a simple shot. I just don’t get it.

Because COVID isn’t a death sentence for 99.99% of people. I’m vaccinated but not because I was afraid of getting COVID (had that too). I was vaccinated so I was able to travel, well when I thought I was going to be able to travel somewhere that required one.

My father is a doctor and the hospitals where he works require doctors/nurses to get flu shots and always have
