Again—yes I did. It is literally a continuation of what Trump has done. Please point out one new idea in it. Changing the definition of a “positive” test result is not a plan.

Biden’s plan is not ANYTHING new relative to what Trump has been doing. Yet, I was told he had some big plan to stop or slow down infections. Answer the question if you can. Y’all hammered Trump every fricking day about his plan. You lap dog in NY criticized keeping anything open. Monday, he cried saying we need to open things up or there would be nothing to open up.

The reality is he had NO new plan. The reality is EVERYONE of you used this as an BS argument to get a corrupt, do nothing, mentally comprised man elected President. You don’t have a new plan, never had one , but will manipulate how the data is counted to claim victory. Sound familiar ?

Did you? It’s basically a continuation of Trump’s Covid plan.

Without even working too hard you can find couple of dozen items that are in Biden plan that appeared in none Trump's. Or are you saying that Trump's plan.
- gave $20B to public (read NYC) transit?
- set aside funding to triple the number of community health workers in the US?
- suggested a NATIONAL vaccine program
- provides an additional $11 billion to international health and humanitarian organizations?
- Expanded the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund?
- Extended SNAP benefits
- Expanded WIC
- Increased the freaking minimum wage to $15 an hour?
- Subsidized COBRA?
and on and on.

I would have figured that the conservative critique of this plan is that is a grab bag of long-time Democratic priorities that Biden is attempting to smuggle in under the guise of COVID relief. It is positively odd to follow up a suggestion that this plan does not exist with the suggestion that this liberal wet dream was Trump's idea.

His plan is 100 days of masks.

This is in stark comparison to the almost year of mask wearing. Now he verbalized it.

Big difference.

If you can't see it, can't help you.

New York times and the msm had called this dramatic statement of doing what we've been doing but pretending it is something different as genius.

How does any of this stop Covid?. He said he had a plan to stop Covid. None of this has anything to do with saving lives or stopping Covid. It's just throwing money at people. Don't give me the vaccination bullshite because that's already underway. Nothing in that plan saves lives from Covid. Nothing.

The plan was to appoint a task force to make a plan... so I guess we’ll have to wait. Until then, we should really try something new like wearing a mask and social distancing for about 100 days or so.

ETA: also we should raise the minimum wage to $15/hr bc that will help...

That's not an actual plan, by any means. That's like... a fricking introductory chapter to a plan with no details and it happens to be the exact same shite that they've been doing with the exception that this guy literally states he's going to prioritize small business help by skin color - boy have we come a long way from Jim Crowe.

So explain to me how this stops a global pandemic? None of this stops a virus.

Some of it probably is helpful and in general, floating as many people as possible financially till we get to the other side of all of this isn't the worst idea. But I agree that much of this stuff Democrats would be pushing for COVID or not, which is why I find it odd to hear someone argue that this all borrowed from Trump's plan.

Today, President-elect Biden is announcing the American Rescue Plan to change the
course of the pandemic, build a bridge towards economic recovery, and invest in racial
justice. The American Rescue Plan will address the stark, intergenerational inequities
that have worsened in the wake of COVID-19. Researchers at Columbia University
estimate that these proposals will cut child poverty in half.

But how does this stop a child from contracting the virus?

Doesn't have to. WHO and CDC changed all of the rules already. It's gone.

How is this going to stop a virus? And i was told by the left people of color do not own businesses because we live in a white supremacists country. So how many people are you even helping?

A lot of money being thrown around for various things.

And, last month, it only got worse: we lost 140,000 jobs in December, including

And there is this, well democrats did this so...

If you don't like the plan or think it will work, that's fine. I didn't write this and indeed I think most of the effort should be aimed at vaccine production/logistics/distribution/injection so a lot o this is beside the point.

I was responding to the OP who said that this plan did not exist and then when I sent it to him he said that it was all Trump's idea.

I get that you guys aren't into unaccountably giving bags of money away to international health and humanitarian organizations, which is why I find it odd that OP said this was Trump's idea.

Yes and no.

We’re going to stop tracking it as much, testing for it as much and counting it in the same way.

And it will he gone before you know it.

Well they are talking about ramping up testing, okay. Its not hard to get a test, and it hasnt been for a while. And people still have to use their free will to go get one.

And basically its a bunch of other shite rehashing the fact that people of color are affected the most because of lost jobs and unequal access to medical care.

Some of this was their own doing.

Let in a lot of immigrants and give them the vaccine and medical supplies, and pay them for coming over
