Just happened to be listening to presser on NPR. They went to the ‘analysts’ right after and she flat out said she was surprised at how well he did. She said ‘this wasn’t a bumbling, stumbling, directionless’ press conference. They’re full of praise. We really are in the middle of the book 1984. It’s incredible.
