his is to prevent the new Cuomo in New York from using his budget surplus and Wall Street tax money to buy up billions of dollars of this drug and when Louisiana comes looking for it, they can't get it?

For crying out loud. Check the validity of your statements before you post.

The New York State Division of the Budget announced today the FY 2021 Enacted State Budget Financial Plan, which projects a $13.3 billion shortfall, or 14%, in revenue from the Executive Budget Forecast released in January and estimates a $61 billion decline through FY 2024 as a direct consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, in the absence of Federal assistance, initial budget control actions outlined in the Financial Plan will reduce spending by $10.1 billion from the Executive Budget. This represents a $7.3 billion reduction in state spending from FY 2020 levels.

808bass.

I scrolled back and I see what you mean. I was bit imprecise, used the word shortage when I should have said feared shortage. I dont think its fair to say I lied though, too harsh and I did link to what I was talking about so I certainly wasnt trying to hide anything like a liar would do.

When did the neolibs decide Mab is an effective treatment,
I feel like I may have missed something? Was it only now when Biden makes this move effectively admitting there is and has been a viable treatment the entire time or was there an announcement by a CDC type that got neolibs to talk like Biden saw this a mile away. I've never heard anyone close to the administration suggest anything other than gene therapy

They’re not admitting it’s an effective treatment.
They don’t want effective treatments.

They only want to restrict access to treatment.

After the last twenty years of hyper partisan politics, it doesn’t seem like we would have to make a case against centralized control of stuff like this.

There is enough supply now. The focus should be on ramping up production, not limiting supply for people who need it right now in favor of people that might need it later.

That's horseshite. There's never more than roughly 1 million Americans in the hospital with Covid at once and both Regeneron and AZ have filled single orders for 500K-1.25MM this year. Ask yourself how pharmaceutical companies can, within months, come up with billions of doses of mRNA vaccines, then almost immediately pivot to a 6 month booster model without there EVER being a mention of potential supply shortages.

You are a fricking sheep.

its funny no one seems concerned that we will run out of vaccines. We can jab 8 billion humans every six months until the end of times and never run out!

Riiiiight...because only politicians with a significant incentive to be re-elected can properly re-allocate resources contrary to consumer demand. They would never make decisions based on voting patterns of their base, right?
