Biden Voters - Would you change your vote?
Yes, unequivocally yes, they would absolutely not vote for Joe, knowing then what they know now.
No, they'll never admit it.

Not to let Biden supporters off the hook, but this event was an inevitability regardless of who was in office.
No, it wasn't. Someone could have planned better evacuation of civilians in the weeks/months leading up to the withdrawal. 15,000 Americans being stranded over there was not an inevitability

I'd simply not vote had I anticipated this:
quote:
“Communism is a failed system, a universally failed system. And I don’t see socialism as a very useful substitute, but that’s another story,” Biden said in the White House East Room.
As to the things you listed:
Afghanistan - seems half as*ed, but we shouldn't have been there and needed to withdraw
Covid - pretty bad but so was the last President's response
Border - Didn't agree with the last President, don't agree with this one. We can stop the flow a la Trump without being cruel a la Trump.
Inflation - Trump was vastly superior
Energy - Trump embraced oil and gas, Dems are for renewables. There's always going to be a shakeup when major industries are transitioning. No right answer.

Donald Trump as POTUS tried to destroy the legitimate Constitutional governing process in this country
I must have missed this.
Which of his policies were unconstitutional? If they were unconstitutional, did the appropriate courts/legislators not execute the ability to check/balance the executive branch? Did he ignore the judicial and legislative branches?
That is a befuddling statement. But I applaud your honesty. You have officially owned up to the fact that poor policy decisions are ok, but only if certain folks enact them.

As a TCU Alumnus. I can honestly state that 80 % of my class voted Republican.
He doesn't speak for the majority!!!!

I appreciate your honesty. We can debate on your direct answers but I can see why you answered the way you did.
Definitely should be out of Afghanistan. But the Biden pull out game was weak. No reason to have over 10k civilians there without having a military presence. Something has to give from a planning perspective.
I don't view Trump as cruel with the border. At least no more cruel than Biden. Same shite different day unfortunately.
I think the COVID responses are about the same. The difference being Biden ran on a platform decrying DJTs response and was adamant that he would do better.

Nope

Very respectable response, thank you, sir.

Agreed

I mean, how hard is it to check immigration status and then send someone back to their country of origin?

You have a very good point. The responses were never serious as airports for international flights were never stopped. Basic things that could have mitigated a "true" pandemic response were not taken. Once the virus was known to not be as deadly as first feared, everything should have changed response-wise and yet, here we are.

And ask him how to successfully get to that end point.

You're going to need to take that common sense elsewhere. We are talking government policy.

What’s it like to be this fricking stupid?

Did you even read the detail being debated?

This event was not inevitable. The taliban taking over was inevitable, but not what’s happening right now.
See my prior response to the other poster.

No, most of them are not that honest with themselves

2020 election is over. Move on. My life has changed little outside of working 4 days/ week ( actually enjoyed it a little) instead of 5 for a few months.
That has nothing to do with the question asked.

Very difficult, due to liberals fighting immigration laws in court. The process has been slowed due to completely unnecessary red tape that is the law of the land.

I think the idea is that it shouldn’t be. Current bad policy doesn’t help.

Has GeorgeWest responded yet? Didn't think so.
Waiting for his evidence. Come on big man...don't suck your thumb now! Bring it!
