This the biggest misconception in the universe. Problem is he's always being compared to the wallflower conformist in media. You're misinterpreting his confidence as arrogance.

So there is no comparison whatsoever to the Fox News environment and the military environment.

Who made this comparison?

So by offering an employee a promotion if she will come up to your hotel room is just wanting to be friends?

I wonder if there were any provisions in his contract for termination. If not, he's getting paid mad jack to sit at home now.

What does it take for you to believe a woman that says she was abused and/or harassed?

Convincing evidence that she is correct.

BTW, if you asked me "What does it take for you to believe a man that says he was abused and/or harassed?" then my answer would be "Convincing evidence that he is correct."

If Ivanka came out tomorrow and said a democratic senator (with no history of abuse) had sexually harassed her I'd wager everything I have that every trumpkin on this board would immediately believe her and demand the senators head.

I'd wager that you would be wrong.

I know I would want to see convincing evidence before believing her.

Once again this should be a learning lesson for this board. Don't attach yourself to figures, attach yourself to policies and ideals.

I'd love to see how the R and D platforms have evolved over the years. To say that either one of them has been consistent is a joke. At the end of the day, R and D have no other identity other than the figures that lead them.

if Bill wanted his job, he would probably fight and win. Bill is is pretty old and tired of working anyway. It's pretty clear, too, that Bill is the kind of guy that says that kind of stuff. He's talked like that on his show. Plus, half the Waters World segments are about women in bikinis. That's not a coincidence.

I don't remember any of the female accusers saying O'Reilly offered them a promotion if she would come up to his hotel room.

Besides, it doesn't automatically mean he wants to get in her pants.

It doesn't even have to mean he wants to be friends. It just means he wants to be friendly and go back to his hotel room so they can relax in private and get to know each other better.

Is this sarcasm? I honestly cannot tell if you are joking here or not.

How does a person get evidence that her boss hit on her, grabbed her arse, or called her a name like "sweet tits"?

(If you say record them doing it then be sure to explain how to get around two party consent laws.

Also, would you consider a man choosing to pay off 4 different women rather than defend yourself to be evidence?

You are bad as the Dems excusing Clinton's behavior. You excuse O'Reily's behavior because he is on the same political spectrum as you. Your hypocrisy makes you no better than the liberals you complain about.

Even if he was set up, he should have been smarter than to provide even a scintilla of ammunition.

This ain't the 1990's and he ain't in his early 40s when chasing skirt or remarking on a co-worker's 'assets' may have been met with a nod and a wink.

If you're 67 and it's 2017, I don't care how rich and famous you are, the overwhelmingly vast majority of women are not gonna think about your wrinkly ole in-need-of-a-Viagra dick fondly just because you make jokes about their tits or some such shite...

The problem the O'Reilly supporters have is it isn't just one woman. It's several women, over a decade or more of time and O'Reilly and Fox paid these women millions of dollars to make them go away.

If it was just one woman, I could understand people defending the guy. But multiple women claiming the same thing against him, screw him. The guy fricked up and he has no one to blame but himself.

So after all these claims, over more than a dozen years with millions of dollars shelled out to shut them up and you still want to defend this sleazebag. WOW!

I want women to worship me but that doesn't mean I should proposition them at work.

Keep it out of the workplace. You can be a poon hound and proposition women all day long elsewhere but not at work.

The law requires some evidence that convinces a judge or jury beyond a reasonable doubt that an accused person is guilty.

I don't consider a woman or man saying they were sexually harassed enough evidence to convince me beyond a reasonable doubt.

Sorry if you don't like our judicial system.

Also, would you consider a man choosing to pay off 4 different women rather than defend yourself to be evidence?

Nope.

Even if a person was guilty of 4 other crimes and paid off the victims to settle the case out of court, that is not evidence of their guilt in the present case.

You obviously have never sat on a jury.

Yes, because it's impossible for Democrats to find enough liberal leaning women in he media business willing to all lie in order to bring down the TV equilivent of Rush Limbaugh.

Without having seen the evidence against O'Reilly it's hard to speculate. However, O'Reilly was a cash cow for Fox; their #1 news show. It's hard for me to imagine they'd get rid of him unless the evidence against him was very strong.

He is in the employment of company and they terminated his employment for his behavior. It doesn't have to be proved "beyond a reasonable doubt"
