Wonder if they're attempting to do the same thing the investigators for the idaho (utah?) murders where everyone claimed they had no leads and little evidence.. only for one day they announce they caught the guy and revealed it was some minority report level shite going on the entire time

I highly doubt it
Most of the people involved with Epstein are probably known, as are many of the events/scenarios
I'm sure some of the redactions are to protect people who are probably scumbags but not necessarily criminals (ie, people who engaged in crass emailing with Epstein but probably aren't sex criminals) from scrutiny and death threats. The government should face questions on how they made those determinations and we should get some sort of redaction log.

I was just suggesting that its possible that he was setting the democrats up to demand full disclosure thinking they'd snag Trump, but if so I fail to see why they'd want the democrats to get the political credit for exposing this mess while he takes the blame for something they clearly weren't a part of.
The only possible strategy I could see is that if Trump didn't want to be the one to "go to war" with what was obviously a mossad/CIA op and now he can say it was the democrats, I had no choice, sorry!
By setting a narrative that they're against disclosure they become guilty to some degree by virtue of being part of the coverup so its tough for me to see the play here given the political price they've paid as a result.

They want to cover this up so badly. Props to Massie for his perseverance otherwise we may not even have the little info we have now. I want everyone involved in the Epstein business to face justice, no matter what side of the political spectrum they are on. They should all never see the light of day again.

Didn't she also just confirm there were still ongoing investigations? If one is being honest, it makes perfect sense why they wouldn't want to discuss it, being a matter still under investigation.
