Nah, the judge wants the inside information to help his daughter's company.

This makes no sense

Her company isn't involved in the litigation

Her company, as far as we know, isn't involved with any of the litigants in this litigation, and the information would only apply to these specific individuals and the admin actions taken against them

Okay, is there ANY decision the President can make without a judicial 'oversight and review'?

You continue to prove yourself day in and day out of your incompetence.

Sure.

I don't think this is one of them.

We don't even know if all of the people taken are TDA

The Feds' Legal Arguments for These Deportations Are Laughably Weak

quote:

In some cases, those individuals were deported simply for being in the same car or house as other suspects. In others, a Trump administration official admits that there is little specific evidence tying some deportees to any crime—and then, incredibly, argues that the lack of evidence should be taken as proof of criminality.

"The lack of a criminal record does not indicate they pose a limited threat," wrote Robert L. Cerna, an acting field office director for ICE, in a sworn affidavit filed in federal district court in Washington, D.C., on Monday night. Cerna goes on to write that "the lack of specific information about each individual actually highlights the risk they pose. It demonstrates that they are terrorists with regard to whom we lack a complete profile."

That's a laughably weak argument. Cerna is arguing that the Trump administration has the power to deport any immigrant suspected of having ties to the Tren de Aragua gang, even if the evidence is thin and never proven in any court.

Imagine siting on a jury and being told by the prosecution that there would be no evidence presented of any crimes being committed, but that you should simply take the prosecutors' word that the suspect seems like a bad guy. Any reasonable juror would vote to acquit—if the judge didn't laugh the prosecutors out of court first.

Me patiently waiting on our resident DUI/divorce attorneys and/or public defenders show up to tell us how these legal scholars with real jobs and experience are wrong in their interpretation of the law.

I’m still floored at the morons begging for illegal criminals to remain in the country. This is an objective common sense issue and to be in the 3-5% who support it shows me who you are exactly.

frick oversight, frick negotiating, frick the libtards

The swamp wants to play dirty, the response should be ignoring everything they say. They can’t do anything about it. They can shove their “democracy” up their arse, the people elected POTUS to deport illegal invaders

Nobody is arguing against normal deportation procedures and due process.

If we have no judicial oversight/recourse, what happens when a citizen is labeled a "terrorist" and then put on a plane in the middle of the night and shipped off to a Central American jail? Do they just have to grin and bear it?

Not even close. They’re simply sticking to boundaries that have long been established, yet never enforced.

When people have been getting away with shite for as long as anyone can remember and are suddenly called to the carpet, they lash out and fight back. That’s precisely what we’re seeing from the left right now.
