I mean, if that’s not the expected response, then what’s to ever deter bad guys from doing it in the first place. And it can’t just be the “possibility” of retaliation….. suppose that’s always been a possibility in connection with such events, by default. No, with Trump it’s, I hope, a foregone conclusion. A guarantee. Possibility and guarantee carry two completely different connotations.

Have you explored the angle of things going on in other countries possibly affecting our country, in a potential assortment of ways too numerous and varied to list? If you haven’t explored that very complex and vast aspect of geopolitics and such, I’d suggest it. It’s worth a google.

I’m pretty sure in the overall picture as it stands now we’re the bear that is not to be poked. Which needed to be clarified and reiterated, as too many bad actors had lost sight of that and frankly hadn’t been overly concerned with poking the biggest bear of them all. Letting that go unchecked is the actual true threat to our country in this scenario.
