Gun control doesn’t do this shite, guns should never be in a school zone or in a school to begin with. Why do kids have to live their lives in fear every time they go into school

If true, it needs to be noted that Uvalde is a location where illegals are dropped off in large numbers on a regular basis. The mayor has asked for help from the fed gov for some time now without a response. Illegals from Central/ South American and even Africa. Totally fricked situation.

So who would have been armed in this scenario, the mid-60's third grade teacher or the 6-10 year old kids?
The "good guy with the gun would have stopped it" doesn't really play for schools the same way it does in most other public spaces. The teachers are not going to be carrying in classrooms full of small children. That is why there are LEO's at schools.

Oh...they were castigated by the majority of American teachers when Texas proposed the idea of teachers carrying. So it never got through the TX legislature. Youre right. That would probably have been helpful in this situation.
