She hasn't done a fricking thing to help anyone in our country other than criminals.
She hasn't laid down any kind of gameplan to make things better, that she helped make worse.
BUT
She's out there to force her giant smile, her ultra rehearsed liberal vocal fry that makes angry liberal women wet, and say "but Trump" to every question. This whole charade is absolutely adored by her base.
Sorry folks but absolutely nailed every part of her assignment. Stop acting like anything else happened. They DO NOT CARE about substance or policy. They care about having their puppet in charge. They care about a few soundbytes showing her be condescending towards a white man in an interview. 99% of her base won't watch anything but the headlines.

The betting markets are reacting as if they do not think this interview helped, money on Trump is predicting a 62.4% chance of him being elected versus 37.6 for her. Her worst odds yet

I personally think she got exactly what she wanted. She knew no matter how she played it or did the MSM would have some great fluff headlines that the majority of people would just see and not watch the interview or read any articles.
This wasn't for Fox News watchers and conservatives, this was for middle of the road people that only see headlines.
Unfortunately, most will see this as a win for her because of all of the news paper headlines and clips they see on MSM not including Fox.
I'm hopeful Trump has done enough to win but I just don't have faith in the voting public to do the research on what is going on.

If so, why did old Joe drop out for Kamala?

bad faith questions and dishonest talking points
Did Brett ask her if Doug Emhoff with his history of hitting women, had ever hit her? ... and a follow up, what if he did hit you, as he has other women?
Did he ask her if Walz with his history of DUI, duplicity, and accusations of pedophilia had ever discussed episodes of pedophilia with her? ... and a follow up, if he admitted to those accusations, what would you do?
Did he ask if a man walked in and watched you while you were using the restroom would you be okay with that?
Did he ask if a woman wants to have an abortion at term, would you ban her from doing it?
Those would be gotcha questions.

The ONLY reason that Kamala would even entertain going on FOX news is her internals must be abysmal. Her performance in said interview was somehow even worse.

I am down to just one TDS friend left (family non included, still plenty of those).
Last night, he himself admitted it's awful and called her Bombala.
Anyone trying to carry water for that disaster interview is either certifiably insane or a paid shill for the dems.
Conservatives are already voting Trump, Liberals are already voting Kamala, so this interview really only mattered for the idiot undecided's, and for those undecided's watching, this was essentially suicide for Kamala.

The way you all talk about interviews indicates you have the wrong idea of what an interviewer is supposed to do. An interview isn't to "body" the guest. This (apparently) is supposed to be journalism, and the goal is for the American public to learn more about a candidate and their ideas.
That’s what Baier was going for: answers about her and her ideas.
If he “bodied” her, that’s entirely on her.

Wow, I thought Newsweek at least had better editors than that.

OK, Betfair and Paddy Power showed an improvement from a dismal 42.1% to a slightly less dismal 44.4 %. But then....
So they cherry pick two (and seem confused about it), then find two others unchanged, and go with "Chances of Winning Election Rise"? And more cherry picking, as Polymarket has Trump up 2 points ~ 59% to > 61% since just before the interview.

Kamala Harris' Chances of Winning Election Rise After Fox News Interview
Text:
quote:
Prior to the interview, which was broadcast at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Betfair and Paddy Power offered odds of 11/8 (42.1 percent) on Harris securing an electoral victory in November. However, as of 5:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, the vice president's chances had improved to 5/4 (44.4 percent). ...
OK, Betfair and Paddy Power showed an improvement from a dismal 42.1% to a slightly less dismal 44.4 %. But then....
quote:Huh? Did they improve, or were they cut?
... While Betfair and Paddy Power both cut Harris' odds of victory after Wednesday's interview,
quote:
...the vice president's chances remained unchanged with a number of other bookmakers. On Wednesday afternoon, Bet365 and Sky Bet offered odds of 13/10 (43.5 percent) and 5/4 (44.4 percent), respectively, on a Harris victory. They remained the same on Thursday

And that's why Bret had to keep interrupting her - she wasn't telling us about herself and her ideas, she was deflecting to talk about Trump.

I guess the moral of the story is newsweek is left leaning

I honestly believe that we have a large number of posters on TD who could have answered Bret Baer’s questions more effectively than Kamala, even without prep. Kamala is just flat out not very intelligent, IMO. That question about, when did you first notice that Biden’s cognitive ability had diminished, should have been pretty easy to answer, and she could have gone on the offensive at the same time. Her response was like an 8th grade kid would have come up with, just amateurish as it could be.

Bair was weak! Kamala bossed him around by spending his 30 minutes trying to give a Kamala campaign Infomercial, and he let her do it.
A good journalist does not need to go into any interviews with Kamala with prepared questions because you already know she is going to have her prepared stock responses she wants to give. Instead, all a good journalist has to do is ask one off the wall question and then the rest of the interview should be follow ups to things she just said. I would even tell her up front, I don't have any prepared questions and I am just going to follow your responses. That would completely take her off her prepared responses.
Why did you suddenly make changes at the border this summer in the heat of the campaign season?
You mention Trump as being divisive, what has he said or done in the last week that makes him divisive in your mind?
Do you think you are a divisive candidate to people that do not support you?
What specifically did you personally add to your economic plan?
Is the reason you don't give specifics of your plans? Who wrote your plans for you?
These are all questions based on what she said as her answers to other questions.
