I understand that he didn't say anything anti-vax. It was more of a point to how it was portrayed and twisted. I figure there will be some push on the Auburn Admin to reign their coaches ih a bit. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
I agree that Pearl holds a lot of influence. I'm not saying that he's going to get fired or anything. Just that he's gonna catch heat for calling out Biden. The Trump days are gone for now. Calling out dear leader these days has consequences apparently. Ask the FBI agents who are losing their clearances for questioning Jan6.

I’m happy he did but typically the university or employer will cave to pressure to walk it back and force someone to apologize. I hope he doesn’t but that’s what I’m used to seeing.

Not to mention that his boss is on the way out the door and that his bosses' boss is brand new and used to be the Dean of Engineering (which means that he is most likely a conservative).

Bruce has been MAGA since before Covid. I would say probably the Abraham Accords was the deal maker for Bruce. He has be dropping political comments for about 4 years now not directly in support but the message definitely leaned right.
