I bet it’s a good time to get into that business in Alabama.
You probably could make some money right now if you wanted to. But I am curious as to how deep this goes for people who are claiming to boycott. Do you now take issue with your favorite teams using Nike? When their current contract is up, will you pressure them to not resign with Nike? If they do anyway, how will you feel about that?
IMO there’s no way to be a sports fan of any kind and not support Nike in some way.

Never was a Nike man ... always thought they sucked.
Back in the day it was Chuck Taylor Converses and they're still my fav. Hard to find good shoes in my size (17) but Converse always came through. I've got New Balance, Reebok and Sketchers and love'em.
I'd be more inclinded to take an Obama on a pair of Nikes if I had a pair. Take a video of a big ole pile of Obama steaming on top of some Nikes ... it would be more effective than burning them.

I think it's just the jersey's and some shirts that are Nike product. I have bought plenty of official merch from the team store and none of it was Nike product.
The thing about those of us burning our Nike gear is we are doing it for our own pleasure.
We know Nike dgaf what we do. It's just our own little fu to the Nike loons back in Oregon.

I wonder how many of you will forget to take them off your feet before lighting them up.

Nikes stock drop is inline with other apparel drops today.
Though you know this, it just doesn't fit with the narrative you want.
Nike -3% (up .8% after hours)
Puma -2%
Adidas -2.3%

True, it's just about symbolism.
Honestly, Kap's not as annoying as his GF's radio show is. "The Breakfast Club" is worse than Kap's stats.

Take your flawed logic up with CNBC....not exactly a conservative website.

Nike shares fall as backlash erupts over new ad campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick
Nike shares fell Tuesday after the reveal of a new ad campaign for the 30th anniversary of "Just Do It," featuring former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, pulled a wave of responses, both for and against the marketing materials, on social media.
The stock closed the day down roughly 3.2 percent, as #NikeBoycott was trending on Twitter.

So would you say you made a symbolic gesture to register your disapproval with something?
How interesting.
