Canada is going to need a new buyer for its tar sands oil and China is going to need a new supplier once the Venezuelan oils starts coming to gulf coast refineries.

This is just not true. Trump backed out of a deal that he himself brokered in 2018 when he got out of the NAFTA. Then had the nerve to say “I don’t know who’s making these (terrible) deals” and you knew when he said that, it was him who made the deal because if not, he would have scapegoated by name who made such a terrible deal because that’s who he is and what he does.

Ironically, you have a problem with the US not relying so much on one country but don't have a problem with Canada not wanting to rely so much on one country.

Canada's leaders have an issue with 'America Envy'. We make them feel inferior, and they become anti-American. It should be the exact opposite. If I'm a middle income guy living next door to a multi-millionaire I would be VERY happy. Lots of benefits for you if you're a friendly neighbor.
