That's fraud. They let you fraudulently bilk the country out of millions if you're in the club or are recommended by someone who is. You and I try this amd we're going to jail, likely with juiced up charges being thrown in.

Louisiana is full of tax payer funded daycares at grammaw or aunties’ house/trailer/apartment.
Don’t even get into the covid loans…
The American tax payer is ripped off mostly by their fellow American.

Looks legit on the surface anyway. I went to Google Earth and see play yard with structures that children would play on, a volleyball net and lots of well cared for grass to run and play on.
EDIT, I zoomed in some more and the grass looks like it's worn and been played on by rug rats and crumb crunchers.

Why would somebody down vote this Google Earth information? Doesn't support preconceived notions?

Here is one of the major problems. There is grant money given out every year to open your own business. Money you never pay back. If you or I apply for it, we will never get it because they give it to immigrants, refugees and minorities. We have all watched it our whole lives. A couple moves from India gets the money, buys a motel, lives in the motel and runs it. Moves more family over and just keep buying hotels and gas stations. Whole freaking towns where one Indian family owns every hotel and gas station in it. To the tune of 700 billion a year. Since 2000 thats 17.5 trillion and its been going on a lot longer than that.

How would a neighborhood allow such a business or licensed like that in the first place ?

Having known a friend whose mother ran three legitimate in-home day cares, it would be an extraordinary easy business to launder a truckload of cash through.

can someone explain to me why our government is funding daycare places?

Government likes to tax income.
Taxing two incomes is better than one.
Subsidizing childcare gets more taxpaying bodies in the workforce.
Gotta spend (taxpayer) money to make money.
Also- incentivizes handing kids over to institutions to raise, who but the government sets the standards for these institutions?
Lastly- keep people too busy, tired and chasing coin to complain.

Absolutely... but that's government for you.
Not only is it a waste of money- It's also detrimental to be farming kids out to others to raise from 6wks old to 18yrs old.

Daycare does seem to be legitimate, but the real question is why is the govt. funding it? Even if some of these Somali daycares have children attending we shouldn’t be paying for them. I’m sure the argument in the Somalis case that the parents can’t afford daycare so govt. has to step in. In this guys case, they are clearly in an affluent area. I highly doubt there’s kids from poor families attending that daycare.

How the hell does someone afford a house of that size and location on the salary of a cop and a day care owner?
