you are not paying attention. people are going nuts against him all over social media. writing him, organizing billboards etc. he is toast.

No, you guys don't get it. Cassidy is way more afraid of his big donor class than he is of his constituents.

Politicians are making so much money in the DC SWAMP, their constituents back home mean nothing....

Grammar police: it’s saw him last night, not seen him last night. Your PSA for today. Cassidy is a punk .

Well he scammed us for 6 more years so we are stuck with this arse hat.

he is SUPPOSED to represent the people.
There is no reason for him to do what he is supposed to do.....mainly because the bigger incentive for his future is to do the opposite of that and just go along with Turtle and the rest of the establishment. Obviously, there is no consequences for his legislative action...shite even if he runs again and does get voted out he still has become a rich man that will get even richer in Washington after he is out of Congress.
Cassidy doesn't give a shite about Louisiana as he will probably never return to this state when he is done in Congress.

They all claim to be our humble public servant.....
before they get elected, then they represent themselves.
Listen to them campaign. They all start with "Vote for me because I stand for ..." not a single one asks what WE want them to stand for.
These jackasses all think they know better than us and deserve to make the decisions to rule over us because they're smarter and just generally better. F 'em.

If his constituents are truly upset with him, it should be fairly easy to recall him.

He keeps using the constitution as an excuse for why he went forward with the impeachment, but conveniently forgets that the president is owed the chief justice in presiding over his case.
You can’t say he was the president to therefore he can be impeached, but because he was a president he doesn’t get what’s owed to the president.
Someone needs to embarrass him at a town hall with this exact line of reasoning.

Just spitballing here, but maybe Cassidy ascribes to the the Conservative philosophy that the representative owes more to his constituents than to simply be a barometer of the local democratic ignorance...
Thus, just because a bunch of conspiracy theorists with anti-democratic inclinations want to overturn an election they just lost, he doesn't have to go along with them- despite it being a currently popular thing to do. He might just think he owes a higher duty to the principles set forth in the Constitution.
Just a thought...

As a Floridian I was a bit skeptical about you Louisiana folks dislike for Cassidy. Boy oh boy, we’re you right about him. That guy is a virtue signaling clown. He’s your version of Marco Rubio.
Isn’t it interesting that it’s darn near impossible to have two good US Senators at the same time.

Not sure what that has to do with the specific question of whether Trump's actions on January 6th were specifically intended to incite an insurrection.
