And speaking of your idiotic ideas.
Yeah? So what?
(Since you never answered that question) Is THIS what you mean by "discriminating against people of other faiths?"
If so, my goodness.
I have another question for you that I bet you won't answer. Our American system is a Constitutional Representative Republic. The Constitution is the foundational basis for the entire country, and one of the chief pillars of it is the Bill of Rights.
What does our Constitution say that our rights are based on?

The quote offered says that it is an American's duty to elect Christians for their leaders.

Clear it up for us? Do you agree with him that it is an American's duty to elect Christian leaders?

But I have a problem with saying my ideas are superior to other people's ideas in spiritual matters. And the reason is because spiritual matters are not things that can be determined by science and require faith. Being a person of reason I therefore cannot say that my ideas are better or worse than yours and I wish more people would understand that as well.
I used reason to determine that Christianity is superior to islam (and others).
Look at the countries that sprang from Christianity vs islam
Look at the artwork, literature, and music
Look at the science and technology
Islam seeks to subjugate which suppresses intellectualism and creativity. Islam promotes war, Christianity peace. Islam demands submission and restrictions, Christianity offers grace and freedom.
I have no problem saying Christianity is better than islam, because all the logical arguments say it is.

Before long people will jump in here claiming that people used to be required to swear allegiance to the Bible in order to hold office, with the implication that it should still be that way.
Again, you don't know the difference between descriptive claims and prescriptive claims.

Guy says it's a Christian nation and then posts a meme with John Jay calling it a Christian nation, along with text that clearly identifies that as his reason for posting the meme.
FIFY.

Pretty frickin cut and dry.
Agreed. So why are you being a retard about it?

And poster would prefer it if we lived in a theocratic nation.
Another lie.

You answer that and I will answer your question.

I didn't ask you the fricking question, did I? I asked the person who posted the meme.
Speaking of not knowing what the frick is going on in the thread. For fricks sake.

Actually, Islam went through a period between the 8th and 13th centuries during which it was quite innovative.
I'm not going to list the entire list of innovations, but you might be interested to look it up. They were very clever there for a while.

No, but I asked YOU a fricking question that you are afraid to answer because you know that if you did it would answer the one you are asking him.
And it wouldn't give the answer you wanted.

Stopped reading right there. Thanks for being honest.
Also, just shut the frick up. I asked someone else a question. They can either answer it or not, but I'm not interested in your opinion on it and that's why I didn't fricking ask it of you.

Riiiight. You got called out for not knowing what was going on in the thread after claiming I didn't know what was going on in the thread and so now your fallback is "you're so stupid!"
Grow the frick up.

Well, this thread is guaranteed to go about 15 pages in length as Christians try to argue we live in a theocratic society and reasonable people remind them it's actually, by motherfricking law, and for good reason, a secular nation.
Nope. If we weren't a Christian nation, no other viewpoints would be allowed.

Well this just isn't frickin true on its face. Singapore is probably the most spiritually diverse nation on the planet. Not Christian even in ridiculous arguments.
And there are other examples.

Yes it is. Christianity is the only religion where choosing to follow it is a centeal tenant.

Heavily Islamic based laws. No other beliefs are tolerated outside of tourist areas.

Straight frickin lies. Singapore is populated TWICE AGAIN by more Buddhists than Muslims.
Take the bullshite elsewhere.
Buddhists - 31%
"Religiously unaffiliated" - 20%
Christians - 19%
Muslims - 16%
Hindus - 5%
Next up are Taiwan and South Korea if you want to talk about spiritual diverse populations that are in no way, shape or form "Christian" nations

Islam vs Christianity is the war we are experiencing. We are losing
