Media has become completely one-sided working for one political party. They have already made sure if a conservative voices their opinion, they're racist and bigoted to silence opposing ideas.

Fox News was the most-watched network in cable news for the 202nd consecutive month. It also beat CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers in prime time, and across the 24-hour day

You do realize that immigrants can't just vote without going through a lengthy process right?

It's been this way for a while.

Actually its been headed this way for over decade.

Nothing is going to change, it's set in stone.

It's up to us parents to raise kids that aren't entitled psychopaths

I can see why many that talk politics have gotten away from a close relationship with the Lord.

The amount of faith in some is tiny.

It is dwarfed by the leftist media when you combine eyes that watch CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, NYT, LATimes, etc.

How old are you? What's the greater good? Do you not realize there will always be an underclass, that there will always be dysfunctional people? All you do with socialist policies is put more of a ceiling on people.

Once both my parents pass away I truly do believe I'll leave the U.S. unless the country does a complete 180. I want to start preparing now but the question is where do you go?
There is nowhere more conservative than the U.S. with anywhere near the same quality of life. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe, Japan, and South Korea all have good quality of life, but are generally less conservative than the U.S. (the exception being social issues in Asia and some other caveats). Most middle-class Americans pay an effective tax rate of less than 10%, which is not too bad considering the economic opportunities and general quality of life here. Democratic Socialism can be implemented better here than elsewhere, but that will require compromise on part of many with disparate views. I’m not counting on it being smooth sailing until the boomers are no longer in control.

"The Country" is not over yet. It will take 100 years to erase the Constitution and replace it with the Global Government's Constitution. 100 years after that, I suspect that the name "USA" will be changed to something else.

But, why should we weep for the USA? History has proven that more than one nation-state can exist on this vast and pleasant land that we call America.

Agree - DONE and OVER WITH.
There is a corrupt elite ruling class that has absolutely NO RULE OF LAW.
The Deep State Establishment Mafia is in total control.
Trump was a slight speed bump and will be impeached in 2019. Then we get stuck with Pence who is just another fraud RINO.
Weak pathetic RINOs had no fortitude and cave every time. ALL TALK NO ACTION Cowards. Pelosi has bigger gonads than all the RINOs combined.
2020 will be the death of Founding Values and fast transition into Socialism.
Country will have a ruling class a very small middle class and 90% will be serfs begging for food, water and shelter.
NWO Globalism with ONE world government. The plan has been in place at least since Daddy Bush with his constant comments about New World Order.

EXCELLENT point.

How should a society deal with these people? Let them starve in the streets?

Also, "dysfunctional" is a relative term. The more complex the system, the more people that could be considered "dysfunctional" therein.

Let's consider a normal distribution of a population of 320 million over a hypothetical metric of "ability to function in a system". If you define just the 2nd standard deviation to the left of the mean as "dysfunctional", you end up with about 8 million "dysfunctionals". Using the first standard deviation, you end up with over 50 million "dysfunctionals".

How does a society cope with this population of dysfunctionals?

Who is starving in the streets?

Again, who is starving in the streets?

Actually let them risk starving in the streets. You'll be amazed how many can suddenly function. For the truly chronically mentally ill, bring back more state institutions.

We are going to demolish Rome's record of 400 years to implode. We won't even make it to 300 years before folding.

If it's any consolation, the leftist posters on this board will be the first to go since mass starvation typically affects the weakest and smallest first.
