My wife worked at CB corporate office for 15 years and reported directly to their Head of Retail for the last six. This Head of Retail has a lesbian daughter so she has almost singlehandedly pushed this LGBTQ agenda on the company. She has also worked to change the entire retail model away from its customer base. The old guard is long gone, and the new leadership is leading the company down the toilet.

Maybe it is time for a change to get rid of the rusty old farm implements and creepy old pictures from the 1800's and early 1900's. Finally they are going give it a more modern look. They have the same look inside as they did since last century. Outdated and dingy. I never like the wait times.
I wonder if they staff will still wear the aprons and have the stars to which level of training they are at.
These "modern" looks are less about appealing aesthetics and more about having cheap standard templates that can be constructed quickly. I'm sure that is a good min-max strategy for profitability on paper but ultimately it just turns these businesses into characterless places.

I would be happy if they could just put two eggs over easy, sausage, grits and biscuits and gravy on a plate in edible fashion and actually at least warm instead of cold (I generally prefer my breakfasts hot.) Cracker Barrel hasn’t come close to doing that in my last few visits there which is why I haven’t been back in ages and have no immediate plans to go back. That is a much larger priority to me than their silly logo, I don’t give a s**t about their optics, they are a damn restaurant, not a cultural institution.

The only place she's stayed for any length of time is Starbucks; one of the most notorious left-leaning corporations in America. Since then, she's basically job hopped without staying in any one place to effect real change. She gets put in charge of CB where she can steer the ship and immediately runs it onto the rocks.

I saw an interview with the CEO and she said "we listened to our customers and employees and these are changes they wanted".
Clearly, she's never stepped foot in a Cracker Barrel on a Sunday.
