But, just to be honest here, Elon went after him first, and Hoffman responded in Kind. DR did not.
And if Hoffman has engaged in bad acts, nothing absolves him from those bad acts.

DR used the high profile posts to point out that while RH is quick to say, “the FBI cleared me,” he’s not so quick to say, “I have a clear conscious.” She then provided her research to support the assertion that RH can’t say he has a clear conscious because of his massive involvement in a failing society.
So, it was a strategically placed post that will get more eyeballs than if she’d posted it on its own.

The OP says that DR nuked Hoffman. It made no claim that her line of attack was directly in response to him saying he was cleared.
