Why do you believe that? Do you know how effective this vaccine will be against NEXT year's variants? Do you know what the long term side affects of the vaccine are? Its actual mortality rate or even how long you will be protected? Do you know what your personal risks are if infected with COVID19 or how natural immunity might protect you? Why do you trust these Pharmaceutical companies and lying politicians so much?
Put differently, if Trump were urging you to get the vaccine this desperately, would you be so trusting?

why did you leave out the part where I said "this desperately"? Did Trump offer free cash, beer, or lotto tix for the vaccine? Is Trump out there blaming the unvaccinated, many of them POC, for the recent spikes?
Here's the issue I have right now. We ALL accepted a completely new and experimental vaccine technology developed in mere months, based on a shite TON of fear and the idea that it was 95% effective, permanent, robust against variants, and had no side effects. None of that happened. There are more question marks than ever. Now, the bait and switch has begun - even Mickey said it; "but its better than nothing!".
My response to that is; prove it! Tell me my true risk profile, show me the reinfection rates, and give us the breakthrough cases. They wont give us the data, but we are expected to get this jab that's looking more and more pointless by the day.

I vaguely comprehend the whole MRNA argument, but I'm honestly not equipped to decode its meaning in relation to this vaccine. Instead, I rely on three GPs who are friends of ours, and they universally (1) took the shots and (2) recommend it to their patients with few limitations.

I felt like dog shite two days last week. Slept real hard. Feel fine now other than a persistent cough. Is it Covid? I have no idea. I’m not getting tested.
ETA I did hear the bar I religiously hang out at has an uptick with the regulars.

LDH website shows 127 Covid ventilator patients statewide. During the peak of this OLOL was running 98 vents by itself.
