As of right now I believe the only potential opponent for 28 is Desantis if he still wants to make a run. Someone may pop up eventually but not yet.

As someone who wants h1b abuse to fix, I want to see Desantis make Vance's seat warm. I don't care if not in office yet. Haley has tried but she isn't going to get it done like Desantis would.

Care to explain how someone that banned abortion at 6 weeks will win Ohio, much less Pennsylvania, NC, and the rust belt?

The media would eat his lunch.

Who would his VP be? He is a good Governor. But he had a horrible Presidential campaign.

A news article said he wants to do television or a podcast. Would you watch his podcast, or his show after the Trey Gowdy show on Fox News?

Are you people unable to understand simple points. I've mentioned multiple times it's the one Achilles heel Vance has, so IF he wants to give it a run this is what he needs to attack. As the iron is hot.

None of the other stuff you mentioned is HAWT right now.

Haley got more votes in the Florida Primary. Ron has a very small following and is very awkward and is not a good decision maker politically. It is what it is

As of right now, why don't we look forward to the next congress and the inauguration. Are you gonna be miserable enough to fight on a message board about two guys who may or may not run? We have the purchase of Greenland and the admission of Canada as the 51st state. And we will go back and kick the Chinese out of the Panama Canal Zone. And then all the stuff in between. All before 2026.

I agree he isn't the best candidate. I wasnt a fan of him running, didn't vote for him in the primary, his wife even irked me, but the guy is a really good governor. He can work on improving being a better candidate.

Trump was clear with picking Vance for the future, so he is obviously the top option for 28. So I'm just saying this topic is hot, and due to his wife's family and friendship with Vivek this is pretty much his Achilles heel. Why Desantis needs to attack it, even this early, if it's what he wants to do.

We all know Haley wants to give it another go, and she may be seeing what I see. Why she came out real quick. Even though some the Musk bootlickers on here will dismiss her as a racist.

I like the strategic game of it all, so why I bring Desantis up now. Laying the ground work out for what could come up later. Makes it fun.

How about adults not being able to hold multiple conversations at once?

This h1b topic is something that doesn't need to be brushed under the rug, and having Desantis stepping up could nudge Vances influence in the right direction.

All the other stuff you mentioned can be discussed as well. Good topics.

If it came down to Haley vs Ron, I would vote for Ron. But you know what? Nikki Haley would beat Ron. After watching both of them this past primary...Haley comes off as not awkward and more relatable. I know she is a Neo Con warmonger but the general Public would vote for her over Ron. Nikki and Ron are both polished and experienced politicians so there is not going to be some big jump like you saw with JD Vance. The bottom line is Ron is awkward and timid when he gets in front of a audience and that's why he had such a horrible showing in the Primary

How many candidates for the nomination would you predict? Surely it will be more than three.

I don't disagree on Ron, and definitely not a Haley fan. He could work on the awkward parts. I'm just saying if he wants any kind of chance this is his current i to put it on the record and get Vance to notice to hopefully nudge him in the right direction on this. That's all.

Same reason McCain/Romney beat Cruz/Paul. The GOP loves their moderates.

I think Ron will make a fantastic president. The issue is his “supporters”. They believe themselves to be the gatekeepers of conservatism, and will burn themselves alive accepting nothing less than “purity”… as if politics is not a game of give and take, wins and losses, and playing the long game. They consider every Ron position dogma, that is of course until he tells them to get behind Trump.

When there’s no more Trump to vilify, and their shining knight finally sits atop the political mountain, they will turn on him too. After all, they are merely the old, self-loathing holdovers from the pre Trump era, chasing windmills while democrats run circles around them.

Abortion turned out to be a non-issue this election despite it being the only issue the Democrats had going for them and making every attempt to hang it around Trump’s neck. Ron just needs to remind everyone that he did what was in Florida’s interest and let the other states do want they think is best.
