Could a Dem governor in those states do exactly the same thing to those sheriffs that DeSantis is doing to Warren in this case?
Depends on state law, I suppose. I don’t know how far the power extends.

Don’t go there. It depends on perspective.
Doing the same thing as before is t going to work. The left isn’t going to play by any rules. They’ll lie, cheat, and steal. It’s obviously not enough to just focus on America first economic and social policies. And let’s be honest, Pres Trump made some poor decisions on who he had advising him.
So if you want someone to go scorched earth and expose all the lefts dirty laundry, then Trump is probably your guy. And that, quite honestly, may be the only way to save the country. Ron is more polished, more politically savvy, and thus far has done all the right things to hold people accountable. It’s like having Kayleigh at the podium. You aren’t going to intimidate her, you’re not smarter than she is, and she’s going to call you out when you say something stupid.
I’d still like to see some sort or alliance between the two of them. If they don’t run together, then at least some sort of very public alliance. We need unity and leadership on the right to force the hand of the RINOs currently in charge. A Trump/Desantis ticket would be really interesting and might be the only real answer.
But honestly, until someone truly drains the swamp no President is going to be successful at righting the ship. He fights the left and his own party.
I still truly believe it’s going to take average everyday people like us getting involved in our state and local governments to get the country back on track.

Yesterday on the OT Lounge there was a thread about a multiple car crash in Los Angeles. Your response in that thread was "frick NorCal" Talk about someone not being bright.
He is a strange individual, But I suppose that I can understand why other Californians would not want to be lumped into a class with Los Angeles

You still have not answered the question whether you are a lawyer. You post inane responses to most topics.
As for this topic, it was addressed in Florida before.
As for me, I post facts and provide information. The fact everyone here finds you tiresome should say enough but you must enjoy it.

There is no example of Warren NOT enforcing Florida law...not one. He was suspended by DeSantis for signing a letter of protest in 2021, protesting laws under consideration by the Fla Legislature. Warren was suspended for expressing his First Amendment right of free speech.
Just another example of DeSantis' authoritarian streak.

So, in your mind, what was the basis for the suspension? What was the exact reason given?
