1) RD is almost to the Trump level on good PR moves

2) any SA who says they will ignore state law is dumb

3) Warren will sue and claim prosecutorial discretion that’s enshrined in state law

4) but again…good PR move

You are a strange little person.

Where do you see a "melt" in my post?

I find it odd that a governor has the unilateral authority to remove another ELECTED official. Rather defeats the purpose of electing him, if he can be "suspended" at the whim of a different elected official.

But you do you, my eloquent little friend.

Obvs RD is using Florida law to suspend him but bc it’s a constitutional office, the Florida Senate has to vote to remove him - remember RD suspended the Broward SOE and Broward Sheriff (i think or maybe he was Palm Beach) but it was thw Senate who removed him- so there is kinda a check/balances procedure (i say kinda bc right now, both the Florida House and Senate do exactly what RD tells them to do)

This needs to happen more often.

You said almost the same thing about removal when the prospect was discussed in Wisconsin. States have different laws. If you want analysis, you can analyze the Executive Order. It cites all the authority that the Governor uses as the basis of his decision.

If instead you just want to keep insulting other posters, I think people are pretty wise to your shtick.

Trump had his time and though I love him, it's time to move on to a younger, more effective DeSantis. He is the future of the GOP.

DeSantis is the Reagan of our time if we put him in office

Correct. DAs and state attorneys who pick and choose which laws they want to ignore are practicing tyranny.

Hope not.

I'd prefer Reagan, but he actually supports the Second Amendment this time.

Yep. I am big on local government. As I recall, we looked in detail at the Wisconsin statute, and I showed that he LACKED the statutory authority for his actions.

Honestly, I don't care enough to do the same analysis here. As I said in the first post, apparently Desantis has the authority in Florida. I just dislike the notion of a statewide official having that level of power over a local elected official. I don't care what player is wearing which team jersey.
