I've noticed straight-looking white men are rarer than hen's teeth on TV commercials these days.

Young men on commercials largely reflect the Soiboi ethos. Older men more the Hapless Man stereotype. Exceptions are vehicle commercials and pharmaceutical commercials.

That is incredibly sad and telling. Do you have a link for that? I don’t doubt you, I would just like to read that article in its entirety.
I’ll say this and this is based of the reality that I see every day. I live in a small Louisiana city, but a city nonetheless. Not a town.
I work at one of the largest employers in town and am a supervisor over entry level positions. While there are exceptions, by and large 90% of the black females have children and very few ever speak of the father. I try not to get into any of my employees personal business, but sometimes info is shared regardless. If the children are sick, mom can’t come to work. If it’s a random school day off, mom can’t come to work. When you add multiple children to some of these situations, that’s several days a month which often then leads to mom being sick after the kid(s) are better. I NEVER hear that they may be late because they have to drop them off at their dads or that dad is staying home with the kids. Maybe, Its just because I don’t hear of those days and they happen. That’s an possibility that I don’t hear about if dad takes them to the doctor, but we work rather closer and I think I’d pick up on it. It really affects their paycheck and reliability at work, which in turn limits any chance of career progression.
More than once, I’ve had a black mom take her maturity leave, come back, and resign within 2 weeks because it’s cheaper to not work and receive benefits than pay for childcare. It’s about to happen again, so that’ll be four. Just stating the facts, my experience has all been black females. I can’t help but think that I’m seeing a family trapped in poverty as they walk out the door for the last time. Nice young woman too, that are trying to do the best they can and work for a living to provide, but the ‘single mother’ status makes that incredibly challenging for them, and in turn, my ability to manage them and lead them to success.

Social commentary is critical to the health of any culture. To reduce legitimate social commentary to “ you retards get triggered “ basically is you opting out of critical thinking and abandoning any legitimate argument. I can assure you I am not triggered by interracial marriage or men being the dummy or every third person being gay on my tv . I’m just observing what values are most important to Madison Avenue elites. Think about it.
Bitching about commercials because the ratio of BM/WW and WM/BW couples are not to your liking is fricking stupid and like a lot of the things you see posted and re-posted on this board,(like this very commercials thread)fricking racist. It's not legitimate social commentary, it's just racist. You can try to church it up all you want, the underlying motivation for this commentary is a disapproval or hatred of that racial dynamic. Weak, insecure white men who are threatened by relationships they would never partake in.

4th wave feminism rules pop culture and Democrats. I stopped supporting advertisers and Hollywood long ago. My life is better for "tuning out"
Let the pussies have it. They need the validation.

It only gets "shoved down your throat" if you let it.
Are you that weak minded and stupid that you let yourself be bothered by something that has no impact on your life?

So observations are now racist?
What is next...breathing?
Honestly, I could give a shite about ads or who is in them. However, to act as though there hasn't been a concerted effort by someone/entity/or agency, as noted by some of the posters in this thread, is disingenuous. The message seems to be...white guys are bad, dumb, or unreliable. It is a good thing my self worth isn't determined by them.
Perhaps your self worth shouldn't be tied to random, anonymous posters on a message board. Just my .02.
Have a good Sunday amigo.

By definition 95% dictates normal, which, for better or worse, are same race couples.
I have no issue with interracial couples, even had a big crush on a really cute and smart black girl in high school, but at the end of the day statistics are statistics.

So, you have changed the word 'critique' into the word 'bitching'? Interesting.

Look at how rationally I responded to you with what my motivations and critiques were and look at how irrationally you responded to me, lol. It's kind of sad to be trapped so completely within a narrative like that. Emoting is cheap. THINK man, THINK. The answer to every argument is actually not sticking your tongue out and saying "you are a racistsexisthomophobe".

You missed my point. The word 'normal' is offensive. It offends the abnormal.
