"After all, it’s his god given right to infect as many people as he can"
cognitive dissonance is pervasive in this lowlife idiot who follows this up with "if you have no argument"
Amazing how leftists think that they are somehow intelligent.
PROOF against that

He knows they need him for ratings

He's already given up in all honesty. He's pulled all his ads in Ohio and several other battle ground states.
Hate to see it.

This is board is probably 90% in favor of Trump. However, let's think of who Trump has to win over in order to win this election. Do you think this move will in anyway help him sway undecided voters or those who are on the fence of voting for Biden? He took a dip in the polls following his debate and corona virus infection. How would refusing to debate and holding a rally attended by his base help him in anyway win over the voters he needs to win the election? If you think about this objectively, I don't think it is a smart move.

I live in Pittsburgh, so obviously in a massive battleground state. I am not exaggerating when I say every tv or radio commercial has 1-2 Biden ads...every time. I have seen maybe 2 Trump ads on TV the past week.

I'm sorry you're over the age of 70, morbidly obese, and have diabetes.

Its about spreading the disease as much as catching it.

Again, these polls are to use on idiots. Congrats on joining the idiots.
So, last time the polls were much more volatile. They were up and down with how much of a lead Hilary had and frequently they had them tied. This showed a lot of undecided voters who either decided to vote for Trump in the end or decided not to vote at all. This time, the polling, on average, has been consistent the past month with Biden leading 6-10%. This shows that many have already made up their mind and aren't budging and the trend has been closer to 10% lately. Additionally, these polls are national, so focused on popular vote. Last time, Hilary did indeed win the popular vote but lost the electoral college, so the polls weren't wrong like everyone likes to say. What they didn't factor in were the polls of swing states, which were extremely close. This go around, the swing states that Trump won (Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, PA) are overall trending Biden consistently with the exception of Ohio. This is the problem and the reason that polls shouldn't be discounted this time. You can just say Fake News to make yourself feel better. But the President is in serious trouble and refusing to debate and instead going to a rally that's not televised and where everyone is already going to vote for you is only going to make things worse.

My question to all the stupid liberals here.
Are you seriously going to vote for an old feeble man who will stay holed up in the oval office until Covid-19 decides it doesn't want to play anymore?
Who in their right minds wants that as the leader of the free world?
fricking lunatics the lot of you!

Your boy Biden suffered a mini-stroke, therefore they have to do it this way.
Congrats on having Admiral Christopher Pike as a candidate....

I am being 100% honest. Probably 80% of the signs I see are Biden/Harris. I saw a Trump sign yesterday and it stood out because it is one of the few in the area. I live in a neighborhood in the city with a mix of young professionals and older working class folks. Basically an old steel neighborhood that's in transition. On the ground in PA, it does seem like Trump is losing steam here and last time it felt VERY different. People were uninspired by Hilary so they were apathetic. This go around people seemed just pissed off at Trump's antics.

Not really. In this case it's using every excuse possible to keep an in person debate from happening purely for political reasons.

No, but it si concerning that he is getting outspent by such a wide margin. Either he is ignoring an important swing state or he is behind on money which typically reflects enthusiasm surrounding a campaign. I made the comment initially in response to someone saying that it seems he has given up in Ohio and pulling his ads. This is exactly what Hilary did last time, she ignored the rust belt and it cost her the election.
