I don't even agree with this. I think this is medical malpractice. These people are telling folks to basically wear a mask 24/7. Wear them in public, wear them at home. That isn't healthy and isn't good medical advice, imo. Of course, I'm not a doctor, but I've seen studies and whatnot suggesting this is unsafe. Wearing these masks for several hours a day will weaken your immune system making it more likely for you to get sick.
People aren't getting enough oxygen.

Somebody at some point will suggest empowering social workers and other mask police with the ability to show up at your door unannounced and do a mask check if you live with an at risk person. Sounds crazy, but there's a lot of crazy floating around out there today.

That was one of the first thoughts that came to my mind when I read this.
Birx can say whatever she wants. The danger is these local idiot politicians that try to latch on to whatever she says and make it some sort of mandatory thing. They've already done a thorough job of tipping their hands as tyrants. I won't be the least bit surprised to hear some dipshit like Cuomo make this a mandatory thing. Thing is, if someone makes this mandatory they'll have to have some way to enforce it. Either snitch on your neighbors, or empower social workers to do as you suggest.

Yeah, and it's supposed to stop them from forcing you to wear masks to begin with. But they have issued mandatory mask orders anyways. These people have already shown through this they give no fricks about the Constitution.
