Oz is talking about the genetic ramifications, and he is correct. In about 20 states, it is legal to marry your first cousin. In all but 6 states, it is legal to marry your first cousin once removed. Marrying cousins was legal in all the states before the Civil War.
I don't think there are any bans in this country on second cousin marriage, which is the situation Oz was commenting on.

Trump should really exploit the lemming mentality of the left. He needs to be very loud and consistent in a new campaign that vehemently condemns incest.
If he does that... then within a week we'll see pro-incest articles popping up on leftist news outlets. Within 2 weeks we'll see msm start pushing pro-incest narratives. Within 3 weeks, we'll see prominent Democrat politicians taking pro-incest stances and condemning trump.
