I only know one guy like this. Lifelong commie lib. Within the first year of the Biden administration, the switch flipped in his head. Because he had been trained his whole life that Republicans are evil, he jumped immediately into libertarianism, but by the time 2024 came around he was MAGA, and he's unapologetic about it to his other lifelong liberal friends.
I wish I knew more than just one person whose switch flipped.
