I tend to agree with Elon, since I could give a shite about Ukraine OR Russia. I just simply don’t want myself nor my kids to die in a fiery sea of hell because of some pissing match in Russia.

Give them Crimea and let’s shut this shite down.

Ehh nato moved closer and put weapons in their border. Both sides aren’t honoring.

Okay Graham now do the boundaries agree to by NATO nations

Good Lord Man! California prefers socialist and communist policies as a whole...would you be ok with a country invading and us allowing them to be annexed as a solution to the war???

This would be more like Russia putting military presence in canada or Mexico.

And we absolutely would be pissed.

Don’t we though?

You know two things can be true. Russia can be bad, and we also provoked them.

Sorry you are too simple minded.

Elon is kinda an idiot. You can be ethnically Ukrainian and vote for a Pro-Russian party. That doesn't mean you want to become a Russian citizen. Russians ethnically only make up 17% of the Ukraine.

In Donetsk and Luhansk, the Russians are at their highest concentrations which is still only 38-40% of the population with Ukrainians being 57-59%. Although 3/4 of the population primarily speaks Russian.

The # of Russians in the other Oblasts (Kherson and Zaporizhizhia) that they "claimed" joined them in a referendum is much smaller by comparison. This is why they are having so many problems with Partisans in these two Oblasts and why neither originally rebelled back in 2014.

If the people of Donetsk and Luhansk want to be Russian, they've got Russian passports they can move to Russia.

What about NATO honoring its commitment of non-expansion? NATO is 3 times larger now. NATO has forced the issue!!

Domino Theory was wrong. Then the Bush Doctrine was wrong. But trust the OT war brigade and the neocon/neolib warhawks they worship. They're right this time!

For a country that had no chance of winning, they seem to be doing fairly well now .

It's like, that was one step above "biolabs" in the Russian propaganda matrix

So 5yrs of filmed atrocities on both sides in the Donbas were all fake?

... That's good I guess.

and when Toria Nuland says, “Ukraine has biological research facilities which, in fact, we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of. So we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,” she was lying?

"Identifying" as being part of Russia doesn't make you Russian.

It works if they are in California. Might be the only actually working thing in that state too. But, "identifying" is the state law.

If I, or anyone, goes to CA and claims their identity is Russian Powerlifter of the Female gender and a powerlifter, well, there ya have it! They ARE indeed, by law, a Female Russian Powerlifter and any who deny the identity can be fined and/or jailed.

Instead of discussing any elections that have happened under occupation or any regular parliamentary elections (where a vote may indeed be for a "Russian" party but that is a giant step from being "against continued independence" party).

Instead we should look at the voting that was made in 1991 when the question was asked - and it was a simple one - Should Ukraine declare Independence"? Yes or No?
