What do you think about Paxton challenging Cornyn in 26?
26 Is going to be a complete bloodletting of the Texas GOP
I know Abbott ,,,Patrick say they're going to run again in 26 because they can't afford to be a lame duck in the upcoming session
and Tim Dunn won't allow it
and the Fairly investement

This GOP Congress has already showed that it will be the same old collection of losers' losers I've seen my entire life, and we aren't even to Inauguration Day yet.

You seem to want Republicans to deal with democrats, but hated McCarthy? This is literally the McCarthy playbook:
No, I don’t, but sadly I know how both chambers work when there aren’t super majorities. I’d love a 20-30 seat Republican majority in the House and 60+ in the Senate, BUT that’s not the world we live in; therefore, you have to compromise if you want to get anything done.
Having to compromise legislative items within my own party that are BS and could be secured at a later is frustrating.
Pay real close to how House Democrats operate like a machine with everyone falling in line for fear of losing committee seats or campaign support. Republicans don’t operate like that and allow a minority of idiotic showboaters to force the collective into bad decisions.
But muh shutdown! Name me a single time a government shutdown worked out in Republicans favor.
Welcome to politics. Enjoy the ride.
And I want a leader to lead, punish his outlying members when he has to, keep his promises to the American people.

Correct. The people voted for President Trump and MAGA. Anyone not on board with that can GTFO

I think Cornyn is extremely vulnerable right now. No Majority Leader (you’d be shocked who knifed him in the back), no Committee leadership, doesn’t request earmarks. He’s gonna have his hands full with Paxton, especially with Dunn’s money and influence.
Patrick has a harder challenge IMO. Abbott has 50+ approval but let’s see what Session brings.

SCOTUS hearings could be a lot of grandstanding

Patrick has a harder challenge IMO.
But another Senator who can self-fund wants it badly

Abbott has 50+ approval
Sid is waiting on a certain endorsement
he;ll keep waiting

Let’s just say the knife came from the top.
The next two years are going to be a lot of grandstanding unless he dramatically changes his approach to reelection. IMO, of course.
Interesting on SD4. Guess I’m gonna have to pay closer attention to Session in 2025.
Yeah, I’m not sure Crenshaw likes being a Congressman, but those guys/gals always have an eye on their next move. You have to rise quickly in that Chamber to relevant and I’m not sure he’s risen like he intended.

Dan is such a wonk
That tries to be a face
The result is you do neither one of them well

lol I missed this at first
Dunn is shifting a lot of his money from the astroturf stuff he was doing
Im sure you've met some of them
he's not funding it anymore
he's putting it all into lobbying in 25 to get vouchers It's not a matter of if ..
it's a matter of how much

Sadly it took me a minute to catch it
I must be slipping that was typically the only thing I would have noticed
