This wasn't Alex Jones station. This was an unauthorized pirate operating a broadcast transmitter without a license.
The FCC's job is to shut these down in order to avoid interference to licensed broadcasters.
FCC inpsectors are able to locate pirates with their own direction-finding monitoring vans,
but mostly they rely on complaints from licensed broadcasters and the public.

Should you need a permit to put up a billboard? To run google fiber thru town? To broadcast porn on abc during family hours?
Imagine if multiple unregulated stations were allowed to broadcast on the same frequency. They'd deliberately jam or overdrive their competition. It would not be good for consumers. Same thing for broadcast TV.

This is all staged baw . How do I know this ? When they took his website down , they left a nice graphic up directing people to a place to donate and his other websites to watch his content . No error message , no 404 . This Alex Jones take down Bs is just that BS .
