Of course they do!

Responsible checkpoints are not what are being related vis-a-vis Hawaii '23, and NC '24 reports.

And I’m correct about you. Despite all your protestations to the contrary, you repeatedly gas light any discussion of the inherently corrupted nature of the Feral Government of the United States.

And Angry? Moi? It is all buttercups and puppy farts on my end!

No gaslighting here. I want what's true so that when the government fricks up they can be lambasted. Crying wolf dilutes out complaints. It gets chalked up to "the conspiracy theorist right." That's why I rag the dubious reports on this NC situation.

I want a fricking hammer to bludgeon the left, not a bunch of easily refuted anecdotes.

Good. And...your team is hanging in there.

Like any Federal agency, FEMA’s fundamental mission is to the promote it’s own existence over every other consideration. There is nothing in the Constitution that comes close to authorizing a government entity with the dictatorial powers granted FEMA.

Which should surprise no one. The United States Government itself is a perverse and tyrannical simulacrum of the principles upon which this nation was founded: it is illegitimate, tyrannical, inept and wholly corrupt. Any conversation that does not acknowledge these fundamental truths is a conversation made in bad faith.

Truth. In an "emergency" the government seizes your constitutional rights wholly and is under no obligation to restore them until they see fit, if ever.

Sounds like a good opportunity to leave a bunch of dead government stooges in a pile..

Amateur drones grounded? So what? Franklin Graham said on Fox earlier today that his Samaritan's Purse along with other private relief efforts were flying helicopters in all day everyday. He also said Starlink was being brought in unimpeded.

You need to quit being suckered and lead by emotion.

I lived it. I lived in Eden Isles for Katrina. FEMA is arse. We evacuated . I can only imagine those poor people that had no idea that Helena would be so bad, and stayed.

It should also be noted that Katrina occurred during the height of the Iraq War and many NG units had been deployed to the Middle East thus limiting the NG’s ability to provide relief efforts to those areas devastated by the storm.

The more things change….

Tennessee National Guard Task Force deploying to Middle East….

Franklin Graham again? So what?

“Amateur” or not, drones can provide necessary reconnaissance of isolated areas and help coordinate rescue efforts to those stranded in these mountainous regions. Yet Buttigieg in effect is telling residents to cease such rescue efforts and wait for Daddy Government to save them.

Buttigieg’s grounding of private drones is a legitimate point of criticism yet here you are, following your script, and pooh-poohing it. You need to quit being suckered and lead by your devotion to sucking the big toe of Big Gubment.

I can agree with what you said about FEMA and still say that the claim on X that a guy pulled 1200 bodies out of the river is bullshite. That's only bad faith in your head.

I don't think his post had a thing to do w/ dependency. It had to do with blind trust. Why would you believe chronic liars?

Your guarantee regarding government dependency is stupid, and irrelevant.
