You don't know much about the poor if you think even 33% would spend that cash appropriately.

Nonsense. One of them is my cousin, although she drives a new Yukon, not an Escalade.

That's because your head is in the sand. I could drive you past 6-7 crappy looking trailer homes that have either an escalade, a Mercedes, a Jaguar or various Cadillacs parked out side of them. I could take you to a seafood store in Hammond where a LA Purchase card is used to pay for boiled crawfish and the customer hops into a late model smaller Mercedes. I can show you children are on medicaid whose parents drive very nice SUVs. You can research this other examples I'm not yet aware of by simply driving to the right part of town. You won't because the cognitive dissonance would overwhelm you. Sorry, but you are extremely wrong.

Guy in front of me at the Harvest Market by Dutchtown was buying 2 24oz cans of Red Bull, a Dr. Pepper, a bag of porkrinds, and a bottle of water.
Whipped out his Louisiana purchase card and paid for that $14 worth of "sustinence". I know this is not every user of this redistribution, err, benefits but it's all too common imo

Pay them to go to school or learn a trade?

About as real as Big Foot.
So your contention is that there are no SNAP recipients who purchase luxury items or unhealthy items?
